Biography
Mehdi Jamshidi was a 24-year-old barber from Rostamabad who had just opened his own hair salon two days before being shot by security forces during protests on January 8, 2026. Although he was initially hospitalized with a leg wound, IRGC agents reportedly obstructed his medical treatment, which led to his death. He is remembered for smiling on his hospital bed and saying, 'It's over, we won,' before passing away.
مهدی جمشیدی، آرایشگر ۲۴ ساله اهل روستای نصفی و ساکن رستمآباد، تنها دو روز پس از افتتاح آرایشگاه خود در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ هدف گلوله نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفت. او پس از انتقال به بیمارستان، به دلیل کارشکنی و اختلال ماموران سپاه در روند درمان جان باخت. مهدی پیش از جانباختن با لبخندی بر لب گفته بود: «تموم شد، ما پیروز شدیم»؛ پس از مرگ او، خانوادهاش مراسم ازدواج نمادینی برای وی برگزار کردند.
